Quote for the Day

"There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn't true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true." - Soren Kierkegaard, danish philosopher.

Star Ramblings from the Edge of the Universe.

Twelve disciples of Jesus.
Twelve signs in the zodiac.
Twelve months in a year.
The constellations are 30 degrees in arc. Twelve constellations times 30 degrees each is a circle--360 degrees.

Jesus was a martyr. Pisces is the sign of the martyr, the one who carries the burden. Pisces rules the feet on the body (every sign correlates with a part, or parts, of the body). Jesus cleansed peoples' feet. The opposite sign of Pisces is Virgo. Jesus' mother was called the VIRGin Mary. Hmmm....The word Libra is in the library. Libra is an air element sign, like Gemini and Aquarius, all three being social signs. The USA is a Cancer sun sign--July 4th--Cancer, being the ruler of home and family oriented things. Domestication. The mother. Your roots. We're not all about home and family in this country are we (sarcasm intended)?? That's just a coincidence right? Hmm....
Onward.
Gandhi was a Libra, the sign of peace. So was John Lennon. They didn't talk about peace much did they? The opposite sign of Libra is Aries, which rules battle, war, guns, explosions, etc. etc....John Lennon and Gandhi both were killed by gunfire, their opposite energy. Now, mind you, not all Libras will talk of peace and die by gunfire. But it is still interesting to note. Jimi Hendrix was a Sagittarius, the sign of the gypsy. He didn't dress like a gypsy at all did he? Sure he did.
Madonna is a Leo. She looks like a "lioness" in the face, strangely enough. The sign of the messenger, words, talking, reading and writing is Gemini. Bob Dylan is a Gemini. Isn't one of the main things he does in his life have to do with writing, especially writing songs? Ted Bundy was a Scorpio/Sagittarius cusp born serial killer. The sign of sexuality and death, among other things is Scorpio. The sign of long distance travel is Sagittarius. Didn't Ted Bundy murder over 30 people, not in one place, but in different states across the country? Strange. Again, not all Gemini's will write like Dylan, nor all Leos look like lions. But still..one has to wonder because it is consistent. The sign of humanitarianism is Aquarius. Oprah Winfrey is just that...the epitome of a humanitarian. Hmmm...all I can say is wow. The funny thing is...I could go on and on and on with more examples. I think part of it is dependent upon your birth chart and the aspects therein. It shows our inclinations, not necessarily what you will exactly do per se, but it's more like a blueprint of who one is, in and out. No two Leos are the same--for example, two Leo people may have different moon signs in different houses making different aspects to other signs and planetary energies, which colors those two Leo sun signs quite differently from one another. Yet they are still meant to be Leonine in some regard. Every sign is different and yet the same, depending upon an array of factors that a human cannot possibly fully comprehend. Then again it might show everything that's supposed to take place in one's existence. How do we know that it does or doesn't? Maybe we aren't evolved enough intellectually, spiritually, physically and emotionally to know such answers. When it's time then perhaps we will. I don't count out possibilities. The impossible can become possible. How can you have one without the other?

A Question on Action and Timing

When you take an action, any action no matter how insignificant-such as lifting a finger- at any given moment, be it a millisecond of a millisecond time-wise for instance, we obviously know that the action taken is natural, biological function of the living thing taking it. When one chooses to take that action is another matter. Is it really one's freewill at work? Or is it timing? A combination of both maybe? Are we convinced that when such an action taken, it is merely a choice of our conscious mind, our freewill? Or was it meant to happen when it did, regardless of the "choice" that we think we made consciously? Is there something far more complex, for lack of a better word, taking place? One may say "No, I made the choice to lift my finger and I and only I did just that." Now my question is...what if any action that one takes is already predetermined before one makes a choice, or uses freewill, to take that action? Do we really know?
What if everything was already foreseen, already planned out, even our own freewill, because when the timing is right, one acts, speaks, thinks, listens, etc. etc...? I know this sounds perhaps silly or ludicrous to some, but really, how do you know? Isn't death somewhat already "foreseen?" When it's your time to go it's your time to go right? There will be a day when that time comes for everyone, regardless of personal beliefs, thoughts, etc. etc....is that not already predetermined perhaps? I know, I know it's science and biology, yeah I agree but where did that all come from? Indeed timing is everything, so it seems. According to astrology, events (and actions) occur based on the timing of planetary movements that correlate with the existence of all things-living and non-living perhaps. Are we not all part of this galaxy and furthermore, the universe? We live in it don't we? Do we not have the same essence (atoms, matter, universal particles, etc.) as our planetary bodies in our own galaxy within our own bodies? Perhaps the planets and energies within our own galaxy do affect us much more than we realize. Surely we came from it long ago, as it was here before us. And over centuries we have evolved into what we are now--based upon a multitude of factors. Does not evolution have to do with time? How do we not know that evolution is actually a part, a mere facet of the grand web of astrology and the timing of events? When things are meant to happen then they will. I do believe that we make our own choices, yet we do not at the same time. I think that there is something much more going on than what meets the senses. I mean the moon affects the tides of the ocean. The days of the week are named after some of our planets and the months and seasons all correlate to astrological signs. The cross is actually the cardinal cross of the zodiac with the four points (and the seasons of spring, summer, fall and winter)representing Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn, the four cardinal signs, each representing a solstice. Well my fingers hurt. I'll leave this at that.
